Type 1 diabetes (short-term use)
Initial criteria
- Individual’s diabetes is poorly controlled despite current use of best practices, defined by at least one of the following:
- • Unexplained hypoglycemic episodes
- • Hypoglycemic unawareness
- • Suspected postprandial hyperglycemia
- • Recurrent diabetic ketoacidosis
