Bacterial meningitis caused by Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria meningitidis and penicillin-susceptible Streptococcus pneumoniae in pediatric patients age ≥ 3 months

Initial criteria

  • Use only to treat or prevent infections proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria
  • Consider culture and susceptibility information when available in selecting therapy
