Treatment of antibiotic-associated pseudomembranous colitis produced by C. difficile and staphylococcal enterocolitis when given orally

Initial criteria

  • May be used in adults and pediatric patients (neonates and older)
  • Should be used only to treat or prevent infections proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria
