Esophageal candidiasis in adults and pediatric patients ≥ 2 years of age

Initial criteria

  • Patient age ≥ 2 years
  • Infection proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible fungal organism(s)
  • Specimens for fungal cultures or other laboratory studies obtained prior to therapy
  • Therapy may be initiated before results are known but should be adjusted when lab results become available
