Secondary hyperparathyroidism with chronic kidney disease on dialysis
Initial criteria
- Patient has chronic kidney disease
- Patient is on dialysis
- Baseline intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) level is at least two times the upper limit of normal as defined by the laboratory reference value measured on two separate occasions
- Medication is prescribed by or in consultation with a nephrologist or endocrinologist
