Initial criteria

  • Patient has geographic atrophy secondary to age-related macular degeneration; AND
  • Patient has a best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) in the affected eye of between 20/25 and 20/320 letters; AND
  • The medication is administered by or under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.
