Initial criteria

  • age ≥ 7 years
  • evaluated using polysomnography and a multiple sleep latency test
  • diagnosis of narcolepsy confirmed by prescriber
  • prescribed by a sleep specialist physician or a neurologist
  • tried at least one of the following treatments: a central nervous system stimulant, modafinil, or armodafinil
