Postinfectious Cough

Initial criteria

  • Patient has Asthma/Reactive Airway Disease OR Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease OR Chronic Bronchitis OR Emphysema; approve for 1 year
  • OR
  • Patient has Postinfectious Cough (cough that persists after an acute respiratory infection has resolved); approve for 2 months

Approval duration

1 year for asthma/reactive airway disease, COPD, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema; 2 months for postinfectious cough
